Ja’oji Donates ₦1.2m for Security Gate Project in Gano Community

Residents of Yar’akwa/Unguwar Gano Community in Tarauni Local Government Area of Kano State have received a major boost in their efforts to enhance security following a donation of ₦1.2 million by the All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Representatives candidate, Hon. Nasir Aminu Bala Ja’oji, towards the construction of a security gate for the community.

The donation was officially presented during a community meeting held at Unguwar Gano Primary School, attended by community leaders, traditional rulers, elders, youth representatives, and other stakeholders.

Representing Hon. Ja’oji at the event, the Director General of the Ja’oji Campaign Organization, Hon. Ibrahim Farouk, popularly known as Golden Chair, conveyed the donation to the community on behalf of the APC House of Representatives candidate.

The meeting was chaired by the Chairman of the Yar’akwa/Unguwar Gano Development Association, Dr. Garba Abdullahi, who described the contribution as a timely intervention that would significantly strengthen security measures within the community.

 

Speaking during the event, Dr. Abdullahi expressed profound appreciation to Hon. Ja’oji for his generosity and commitment to grassroots development. He noted that the construction of the security gate would help safeguard lives and property while contributing to the overall well-being of residents.

“This donation demonstrates Hon. Ja’oji’s dedication to community development and his concern for the safety and welfare of the people. The proposed security gate will go a long way in enhancing security within our community,” he said.

Among the dignitaries present at the gathering was the Executive Secretary of the Consumer Protection Agency, Dr. Ibrahim Garba, alongside traditional leaders, community elders, and other notable personalities.

The meeting also provided an opportunity for stakeholders to deliberate on issues affecting the community, particularly matters relating to security, development, and the collective welfare of residents.

Dr. Abdullahi further called on public office holders, philanthropists, and other well-meaning individuals to emulate the gesture by supporting community-driven initiatives aimed at improving security and fostering sustainable development.

The Yar’akwa/Unguwar Gano Development Association reaffirmed its commitment to promoting unity, peace, security, and sustainable development through collaboration with stakeholders and community members.

The security gate project is expected to commence in due course as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen community safety and improve living conditions for residents.
