Pilgrims from the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) participating in the 2026 Hajj have commended the Minister of State for the FCT, Mariya Mahmoud Bunkure, for the welfare support and care being provided to them in Saudi Arabia.
The pilgrims praised the minister for ensuring conducive accommodation and adequate feeding arrangements through the FCT Pilgrims Welfare Board under her supervision.
One of the pilgrims, Ramatu Mangu, said the welfare package had made their stay comfortable since arriving in the holy land.
“Alhamdulillah, since we arrived, we have been treated well. We are being provided with food and everything necessary for our comfort,” she said.
Another pilgrim, Alhaji Ibrahim, expressed appreciation to the minister and other officials for their commitment to the well-being of the pilgrims.
“We are grateful to our leaders for the care and support they are giving us. We pray for Allah’s blessings upon the FCT Minister, Dr. Mariya Bunkure,” he said.
Also speaking, Ahmad Isa applauded the Nigerian Hajj authorities for the quality of feeding arrangements provided to the pilgrims.
“We appreciate the efforts of the Hajj officials. We were served good meals with chicken, and we continue to pray for peace and progress in Nigeria,” he stated.
