The Politics of Blind Loyalty

By Sani M Saleh

I have been nursing concerns about this style of politics for a long time, but several reasons made me reluctant to express my views.
However, I no longer mind standing by my convictions. I have come to terms with my conscience and chosen to overlook the criticism of those who have closed their minds to perspectives different from their own.
It is unfortunate that many fail to realize they are merely being used by a political system that rarely serves their genuine interests. Sadly, many personal ambitions have been sacrificed to advance the interests of political godfathers and those who benefit from the status quo.
I understand that some may disagree with this view, and that is their right.

Criticism does not discourage me. I have become accustomed to opposing opinions, and I remain firm in my beliefs and principles.

I only ask that we set aside hostility and partisan bias. Let us think independently instead of allowing ourselves to be influenced by those who discourage us from pursuing our own aspirations.
This is the right time to realize that you, too, can earn your place in the political arena and make a meaningful difference. Leadership is not reserved for a select few—it belongs to those who are willing to serve with integrity, courage, and vision.

“If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.” — Wayne Dyer
Note: Please do not take this as an insult or an attack. Rather, see it as a sincere call for reflection, constructive dialogue, and positive mind change.
