A member of the Kano State House of Assembly representing Ungoggo Local Government Area, Aminu Sa’adu, has died.
The death was confirmed on Wednesday evening by the Press Secretary of the Kano State House of Assembly, Kamaludeen Sani Shawai, in a phone call with THR News Correspondent.
According to Shawai, the lawmaker took ill earlier in the day shortly after arriving at the assembly complex. He was immediately rushed to a hospital, where medical personnel later confirmed his death.
The late lawmaker is scheduled to be buried at about 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, in accordance with Islamic rites.
