The All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially endorsed Governor Biodun Oyebanji as its consensus candidate for the 2026 governorship election in Ekiti State.
The endorsement was announced on Monday during a party stakeholders’ meeting held in Ado-Ekiti.
Senate Leader Opeyemi Bamidele moved the motion for Oyebanji’s adoption, which was seconded by the Speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Stephen Aribasoye.
Party leaders at the meeting commended Oyebanji’s performance in office and pledged their full support for his re-election bid.
