The National Youth Service Corps has announced November 4, 2026, as the commencement date for the orientation course of the 2026 Batch C Stream II corps members.
The NYSC disclosed this in a statement issued on Friday and signed by its Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu.
According to the statement, the three-week orientation exercise will be conducted across the 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
“The Management of the National Youth Service Corps has approved Wednesday, 4th November 2026 as the commencement date for the 2026 Batch ‘C’ Stream II Orientation Course,” the statement said.
It added that registration of corps members would commence on Wednesday, November 4, and close at midnight on Friday, November 6.
The swearing-in ceremony for the new corps members has also been scheduled for Friday, November 6.
The NYSC said the orientation exercise would end on Tuesday, November 24, 2026.
“Consequently, the Closing Ceremony is scheduled to take place on Tuesday 24th November 2026,” the statement added.
The NYSC urged prospective corps members to take note of the approved dates and make the necessary preparations for the orientation exercise.
