BREAKING: Thugs Attack GSM Phone Market in Kano’s Farm Center

Suspected thugs on Tuesday launched an attack on the popular phone market at Farm Center in Kano, causing panic among traders and customers.

A source at the market told THR News that the attackers, believed to have attended a political gathering organized by Kano Central senatorial aspirant, A.A. Zaura, stormed the Yoyo Plaza section of the market.

According to the source, the hoodlums assaulted traders and disrupted ongoing business activities, creating chaos in the area. They were also reported to have snatched mobile phones from passersby along nearby roads.

Security operatives, including police officers, were later deployed to the scene and successfully dispersed the attackers.

As of the time of filing this report, there were no confirmed casualties or injuries resulting from the incident.
