Anambra Governorship Election: APC’s Ukachukwu Defeats Labour Party in Peter Obi’s Polling Unit

The Labour Party (LP) suffered a setback in the polling unit of its 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi, during the ongoing Anambra governorship election.

At polling unit 019, Agulu Ward 11 in Anaocha Local Government Area, results announced around 3 p.m. showed Nicholas Ukachukwu, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), securing victory with 73 votes.

George Moghalu, the Labour Party’s candidate, came second with 57 votes, while the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) finished third with 38 votes.
