Ramadan: Indomie Hosts Iftar in the Homes of Its Customers in Kaduna

Indomie Noodles Company has organised a special iftar gathering in Kaduna State to honour winners of a Ramadan radio quiz competition conducted in the state, similar to activities held in Kano and Sokoto States, while also strengthening its relationship with the community during the holy month.

The initiative is part of programmes designed by the company to create joyful moments during the breaking of the fast with its customers who participated in the radio quiz show aired during the month of Ramadan.

Nura Yusuf Muhammad and Maryam Husaini emerged as winners of the quiz competition in Kaduna State after demonstrating strong knowledge in answering questions presented during the programme.

To celebrate their achievement, Indomie organised a special iftar gathering in Millennium City in the state, where the winners, their families, and other members of the community came together to break their fast with the brand.

The gathering created an atmosphere of joy and excitement among participants, as meals and gifts were distributed during the iftar.

Speaking at the event, the winners expressed their happiness and appreciation to Indomie for the honour and recognition given to them. They noted that the initiative added more joy to their Ramadan experience and provided an opportunity for them to share the iftar moment with their families and neighbours.

One of the winners said the initiative made the Ramadan season a memorable one for them, while also strengthening unity and togetherness within the community.

Some of the attendees also commended the programme, saying initiatives by private companies such as Indomie help strengthen social bonds, unity, and mutual support among communities during the Ramadan period.

Speaking at the event, an Indomie representative, Gabriel Ajeh, said the initiative forms part of the company’s effort to connect more closely with communities while celebrating participants of the Ramadan quiz programme.

He added that recognising the winners during such an iftar gathering helps make the experience memorable while strengthening the relationship between the company and its customers.

The company also expanded participation in the quiz through its social media platforms known as Indomie Arewa, where daily questions are posted to give people who were unable to listen to the radio programme the opportunity to participate.

Individuals who correctly answered the questions on these platforms received cartons of Indomie noodles as gifts, helping to support families during the Ramadan period.

The company stated that the initiative reflects its commitment to supporting communities and spreading happiness among people during the holy month of Ramadan.
