The Kano State House of Assembly has received the names of six nominees forwarded by Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for appointment as commissioners and members of the state executive council.
Speaker of the House, Jibril Ismail Falgore, read the governor’s letter during Wednesday’s plenary session.
The nominees include retired Air Commodore Salisu Yusha’u, Professor Sani Lawan and Hon. Muntari Ishaq.
Others are Dr Aminu Ibrahim Tsanyawa, Hon. Idris Garba Mustapha and Ibrahim Namadi Dala.
The nominees are expected to serve as commissioners and members of the Kano State Executive Council, subject to the completion of the required legislative process.
