BREAKING: Dangote Group to Reabsorb Workers Sacked by Refinery

The Dangote Group has reached an agreement to reabsorb workers recently laid off by its subsidiary, Dangote Petroleum Refinery, following a peace meeting with stakeholders.

The Ministry of Labour and Employment announced the resolution on Wednesday in a statement detailing the outcome of reconciliation meetings held on Monday and Tuesday.

Founder of Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, alongside representatives of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN), met on Tuesday with the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun, as well as the Minister of Labour and Employment, Mohammed Dingyadi.
