The Kano Media Advocacy Network (K-MAN) expressed profound sorrow over the tragic road accident that occurred on Saturday, 25th October 2025, in Wudil Local Government Area of Kano state.
A Kano Line bus was reportedly involved in a fatal crash, which claimed the lives of twelve (12) innocent passengers.
In a statement by Munir Ibrahim Publisher Publicity Secretary, the network president, Sulaiman Ahmad Indabawa, extended heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims.
The statement reads, “The heartbreaking incident serves as a painful reminder of the value of human life and the collective responsibility we all share in ensuring road safety. As we mourn the departed, K-MAN extends its deepest sympathies to His Excellency, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, the Executive Governor of Kano State, the bereaved families, and the good people of Kano State during this moment of grief.

“We also recognize and deeply appreciate the Governor’s unwavering commitment to infrastructure transformation, as evidenced by the massive road construction projects currently ongoing across the state, which have effectively turned Kano into a construction hub. These monumental efforts underscore his vision for safer, more efficient, and accessible transportation networks that will, in due course, significantly reduce such tragic occurrences.
“While we console the families of the victims and pray for Almighty Allah (SWT) to grant the deceased Aljannatul Firdaus, we also urge all road users to adhere strictly to the traffic rules and safety guidelines. Road safety is a shared duty and collective discipline remains the surest way to safeguard lives.
“K-MAN stands ready to continue partnering with the state government in promoting public enlightenment, responsible reportage, and civic awareness to ensure a safer and more prosperous Kano State.”
