JUST IN: PENGASSAN suspends strike

The Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN) has suspended its 3-day strike.

The union embarked on strike over a rift with Dangote Refinery.

President of PENGASSAN, Festus Osifo announced the suspension at a press briefing on Wednesday.

The union warned the management of Dangote Refinery not to renege on the agreement they both signed during a marathon meeting that was held at the Office of the National Security Adviser.

Osifo said if the company reneged on its agreement, the union won’t take it lightly with the company.
