Nigerian-British boxer, Anthony Joshua, on Monday involved in a road accident, which claimed two lives along the Lagos – Ibadan expressway.
Our correspondent gathered that the vehicle carrying Joshua, a Lexus Jeep marked KRD 850 HN, reportedly collided with a stationary truck along the highway.
The Spokesperson of the Federal Road Safety, Ogun Command, Afolabi Odunsi, confirmed the incident in a telephone interview with Daily Trust.
Odunsi said two people died in the crash, but the boxer is alive.

“It’s true, but he (Joshua) is alive. About five people were involved, two died. I will send you a release shortly,” he said.
Daily Trust reports that Joshua hails from Sagamu in Sagamu Local Government Area of Ogun State.
