The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Ondo State Command, arrested a 28-year-old graduate, Aina Ayotomide, for allegedly stealing a motorcycle in Ekiti.
Mr. Oluyemi Ibiloye, the NSCDC State Commandant, who disclosed this to newsmen on Wednesday in Akure, said Ayotomide sold the motorcycle in Ondo State.
Ibiloye said the suspect, who resides in Ado Ekiti, was arrested on September 10 at the Agbogbo area of Akure.
He added that the arrest was made by operatives from the command’s intelligence unit, who were acting on credible information.

According to him, a wine-colored Bajaj motorbike was recovered from the suspect at the time of his arrest.
“Upon interrogation, the suspect confessed to stealing the motorbike at the Nova School Area in Ado Ekiti and bringing it to Akure to sell it,” Ibiloye said.
“The suspect further admitted that he stole the bike to replace the N130,000 his sister gave him, which he had lost on a sports betting platform.”
“Meanwhile, the owner of the bike, Mr. Amire Tope, who resides in Ado Ekiti, has been alerted about the recovery and has identified it as his.” (NAN)
