Governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State has reaffirmed his commitment upholding the Kwankwasiyya ideology for the state’s development.
A statement by Mustapha Muhammad, the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, said that Yusuf stated this during the 69th Anniversary Lecture organized in honour of the Global Leader of the Kwankwasiyya Movement, Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, at his residence on Tuesday.
Governor Yusuf maintained that the relationship between him and Engr. Kwankwaso is solid and without any crack.
Abba Kabir Yusuf said, “I assure you, Kwankwasiyya followers, that the ideology of the movement which the present administration is executing will be sustained, while the ones that we have not started will soon be launched,” the governor reassured.

He stressed that anybody who is expecting to see division in the present movement would surely be ashamed.
Governor Yusuf acknowledged that the track record of the former Presidential candidate of the NNPP was full of blessings since his childhood, schooling, and leadership.
The governor thanked resource persons who delivered lectures at the event, especially Prof. Kamilu Sani Fagge and Prof. Bello Kano.
He prayed to God Almighty to deal decisively with the enemies of the state who do not want to see peace reign in the state, especially under the present administration of the Kwankwasiyya Movement.
In his remarks, Engr. Kwankwaso appreciated the development so far recorded under Governor Yusuf’s leadership.
The Presidential Candidate of the NNPP expressed gratitude to all who came from within the state and outside to celebrate with him.
