Floods were reported to have submerged farmlands in Taraba State.
Rice, maize and other crops were destroyed in the incident.
According to our sources, the farms many farms were now submerged.
A resident, Mukhtar Aminu said that two weeks ago there were a similar incidents, in which over 2500 farms across six local government areas of the state were destroyed by floods.

He gave the are affected as Mayoreniyo, Binnari, Kwatan Nanido, Maigoro,Tungan Kura and Shika.
