Boko Haram has killed four farmers in Askira Uba LGA, of Borno state.
The senator representing, Borno South, Senator Ali Ndume, described the situation as worrisome.
The senator said that in the renewed attacks by the terrorists, the farmers were killed on their farms while harvesting crops in Kwam village near the Dille community.
“I am very much perturbed over the renewed attacks by Boko Haram terrorists in some parts of my constituency in the last week.

“These attacks led to the killing of four farmers while harvesting their crops in Kwam village, near Dille community of Askira- Uba local government area.
“Just last week, a Church and other infrastructures in Pemi were set ablaze, and yesterday (Wednesday), there were reports of Boko Haram invasion in the Shikarkir community of Chibok local government area in Borno state.
“The situation is worrisome. This is because the inability of security agencies to man such remote communities in my constituency have led to the increase in attacks without confrontation.”
