Abducted Kebbi Deputy Speaker Regains Freedom

Kebbi State Deputy Speaker, Muhammadu Samaila Bagudo, has regained freedom from his abductors.

The Deputy Speaker was kidnapped on Friday last week from a mosque in his home town, Bagudo.

However, police have not confirmed Bagudo’s release yet.

But reports said that an interfaith prayer session held in Birnin Kebbi on Saturday.

The session was aimed at seeking divine intervention on the prevailing spate of insecurity in the state.

Both Muslims and Christians in the state on Saturday gathered to pray for the return of enduring peace.

Recall that the governor of the state,Nasir Idris, warned politicians against politicizing insecurity in the state.
