Supreme Court Orders David Mark Back to Federal High Court Over ADC Leadership Dispute

Nigeria’s Supreme Court has directed former Senate President, David Mark, to return to the Federal High Court for the hearing and determination of issues stemming from the leadership crisis within the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

The apex court gave the directive in a unanimous judgment delivered on Thursday by a five-member panel led by Mohammed Garba.

In its ruling, the court faulted the earlier decision of the Court of Appeal, which had ordered all parties involved in the dispute to maintain the status quo pending further proceedings.
