JUST IN: Kwankwaso’son Resigns as Kano Youth and Sports Commissioner

Mustapha Rabiu Kwankwaso has resigned as the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development and a member of the Kano State Executive Council.

In a statement announcing his resignation, Kwankwaso said the decision was taken with a heavy heart, while expressing gratitude to Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for the opportunity to serve the people of Kano State.

He thanked the governor for the trust reposed in him and noted that his time in office provided valuable experiences and lessons. Kwankwaso also appreciated the support he received during his tenure at the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development.

The former commissioner expressed hope that the youth of Kano State would continue to receive adequate attention and support, adding that he remains optimistic about the future of sports development programmes and initiatives in the state.

Kwankwaso prayed for continued peace and progress in Kano State and wished the state government and its people success in their ongoing efforts.
