BREAKING: Several US Fighter Jets Crash in Kuwait — Defence Ministry

Kuwait’s Ministry of Defence has confirmed that several United States military aircraft crashed on Monday morning within the country.

In a statement, a defence ministry spokesperson said the cause of the crash remains unknown but confirmed the “complete safety” of all crew members on board. The ministry did not disclose the exact number of aircraft involved or the total number of personnel affected.

According to the statement, search and rescue teams evacuated the crew and transferred them to a hospital for medical evaluation. Their condition was described as “stable.”

“Concerned authorities are continuing investigations to determine the cause of the incident,” the ministry added.

Earlier, a video circulating on social media showed a fighter jet engulfed in flames before crashing near a US air base in Kuwait.

While it was initially unclear which air force operated the aircraft, an analysis by CNN indicated that the twin-engine jet in the footage appeared consistent with a US F-15E Strike Eagle. The pilot reportedly ejected and landed safely.

Iran later claimed responsibility for downing the jet.

The incident comes amid heightened tensions in the region. Since the United States and Israel launched joint strikes against Iran on Saturday, three US soldiers have been killed and five others wounded.

US President Donald Trump has vowed to avenge the deaths, while warning that further casualties are likely before the conflict concludes.
